Yes it has been a while since you’ve heard from me and my blog. Nearly 6 months I think. I didn’t intentionally stop, but after I realised I hadn’t posted in a while, I didn’t have the urge or want to post. So I waited until I wanted to say something and to be excited about my blog again.
Today that happened! Ive got a few post ideas written down, and lots to update you on. I am aware though that I don’t have a lot of follows, and I definitely did not feel as though I was being missed. However, thankfully that has not discouraged me, if anything it has encouraged me to give my blog more love and effort.
I still like the look and layout of my blog so I’m not changing any of that. Although I have noticed that a couple of the pages need some MAJOR updating, which I will try and get sorted ASAP.
So 2018 overall was a very good year for me and my family. A few new things happened which have all been good so far, and working so far. I’ll go into more detail about some of them in future posts, but the biggest change was my job which happened at the start of the summer last year. Changing my job was probably the best decision I made in 2018! Speaking of summer… Wasn’t last summer HOT?! Us Brits are terrible for complaining about the weather, good or bad. But we can all agree that last summer was HOT, UNCOMFORTABLE, SUNNY, SWEATY and the BEST we’ve had in years! I have never had to shave my legs as much during a summer since leaving Spain!
My boys haven’t stopped growing up unfortunately… They are doing amazingly well, and make me and Daddy smile every day. Finnley (the youngest) on the other hand has become a handful. He has been keeping us on our toes for a few months now and its hard work. He is testing the boundaries constantly and challenging us every day. He’s pushing his brother’s buttons too, demanding his attention, and enjoying terrorising him. Aaahhh toddlers… bloody nightmare!
My Drawing has been taking up ALOT of my free time as well, and has been a big part of why I’ve neglected my blog. My passion for my drawing has increased loads, and the urge to draw is constant. I’m really enjoying it, I’m just not sure how I’m going to share my free time between drawing, blogging and lounging. So I’m not making any promises or set days and times with my blog. I’ll post when I have something to post, it just means I’ll have to work a lot harder in making you all aware that I’ve posted on the blog.
I haven’t made any new years resolutions as such, but I want to continue everything I started before Christmas and enjoy life. Oh and I’ll be doing a lot more lifestyle blog posts because I want to get a bit more personal with you.
Hope your 2018 was good, and that 2019 is better!
Glad to be back!
