Star Wars

A long time ago… (40 years ago to be precise)

In a galaxy far, far away…

The world first heard of “The Force” and was introduced to a young Jedi, a rebel Princess, and an underdog of a hero…

STAR WARS, a great film created by George Lucas, now known as a popular saga, with 8 films so far telling the story, with many more films to be released, in the not too distant future.

“If there’s a bright centre to the universe, you’re on the planet that it’s farthest from.”

– Luke Skywalker

I grew up with the original theatrical released VHS tapes of A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Even though I was born 9 years after A New Hope was shown in the cinema, those first three films were important to me. They had an affect on me, and my love of film from a very young age. And as I got older, I understood the story more, and the characters more and my appreciation for them grew too.

Here are some of my favourite posts I’ve written about the Sci-Fi Saga…

Star Wars: The Force Awakens – WOW!
The Force Awakens: Top 5 Moments
Star War – Episode IV
Star Wars: My Top 5 Characters
Princess Leia & Molly Brown

The first official teaser trailer for The Last Jedi was released earlier this year, and I’ve lost count how many times I’ve watched it. Take a look if you’ve not seen it yet, or if, like me, you want to watch it again…

  1. AHHH!!! I just found your blog from a comment you posted on another blog! I can’t believe you have a Star Wars, Marvel, and Disney tag! I love this!! I’m so pumped for The Last Jedi, I can’t even take it. I wish it would get here sooner!
