My Best Friend’s Wedding

Yesterday was such a happy day. My dear friend Jen married her Prince in front of family and closest friends. The sun was shining bright all day as well which was a bonus, and it made the photographer extremely happy!

I’ve known Jen for over 7 years now, and we have bonded very easily over that time. Both having a passion for Disney, as well as meeting while working at the Disney Store. We both love our music and singing, although Jen will lean more towards musicals, where-as I will lean more to R & B. We like the same foods, and alcoholic drinks, although, I like my Irn-Bru, Jen prefers sticking with water.

I remember when Jen told me about the first time she met Jonathan. It was at one of her best friend’s weddings, who happened to be Jonathan’s cousin. And the mother of the Bride had an inclining the two would get a long, so she shoved them both into a photo booth and they’ve been together ever since.

That wedding day was 4 years ago, and now they have tied the knot and proven you kind find love in the most unexpected of places. I am so happy for my friend, and thankfully, Jonathan is a fantastic Prince for such a beautiful Princess. However, the surname “Fish” may take a bit more getting used to… But I suppose it could have been worse!

The happy couple leave on Wednesday for a fabulous honeymoon in NEW YORK CITY!!!! Yeah Baby! I had no influence on the choice of destination by the way. Then again, me and Ben never stop going on about how amazing it is, so we may have had a tiny influence.

Weddings are supposed to be a special day for you to celebrate the love you have with your Prince or Princess. Whether you jet off somewhere romantic with friends and say “I do” on golden sand, or you want everyone you love to be with the two of you and party till the sun comes up. It’s about the two of you, and the love you have for one another. My friend never stopped smiling on her special day, from the moment she entered the room, walking towards her future husband to “I see the light” from tangled, to cutting the cake, just before the disco started.

Jen found love and happiness with Jonathan and they have a great adventure together ahead of them.

I wish that everyone finds it.
